大阪で開催中のビデオ・ランデブー展において、イルコモンズが本日1月17（木）のアーツバースデーを東京にいる粉川哲夫さんとインターネットを通じて祝います。2008年1月17日は、芸術が生まれて100万45回目の誕生日なのです。また、明後日18（金）の夕方には、2007年京都での「無買日」ドキュメンタリー特別上映がおこなわれます。

_ Art's Birthday 2008 – 1,000,045 Years of Art

In 1963 the French Fluxus artist, Robert Filliou, declared January 17 to be the 1,000,000th birthday of art which for some decades now has been celebrated worldwide. Art's Birthday 2008 is an open-ended networked art-project of exchange and collaboration.

in Osaka, illcommonz with remo will be participated in Art's Birthday in the museum. And a short film on Buy Nothing Day 2007 in Kyoto shot and edited by illcommonz will be shown.

粉川哲夫さんのradio kinesonus Part2では、イルコモンズさんがremoとコラボレーションしている大阪（大阪市立近代美術館（仮称）心斎橋展示室）から参加します。どなたでもスカイプ番号「polymology」を呼ぶことができて、全員の声がインターネットに配信されることになる予定だそうです。

_ ビデオ・ランデブー：映像の現在/ video rendez-vous「イルコモンズ ■レイトショー」

「買うものであなたが決まる(You are what you buy)」という丸井のクレジットカードのCMを見たイルコモンズ。「そんなことあるものか！このCMは人間に対する冒涜だ！」と腹をたて、毎年、クリスマス・シーズンに行われるアドバスターズの「BUY NOTHING DAY」に参加することを決意。早速、自作のキャンペーン・ポスターをつくり、YouTubeにキャンペーン・ビデオをアップし、さらに、「資本主義への日々の投票用紙」であるレシートで覆われたマネキンまでこしらえるが、それでもまだ腹の虫がおさまらない。そこで毎年、「BUY NOTHING DAY」に京都四条河原町の阪急百貨店前で行われる「禅タ・クロースの座禅」イベントに参戦。はたしてそこでイルコモンズが見たものは何か？そして「僕らがどんな人間かを決めるのは何なのか？」という問いにイルコ モンズが出した答えは何か？現代美術家で民族誌家でメディア・アクティヴィストのイルコモンズが贈るヒューマン・ドキュメント。
